Brunswick Valley Business Network

The Brunswick Valley Building Community Project (BVBCP) is a community network of businesses and individuals, who reside in the North of Byron Shire including the townships of Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores, and the villages of New Brighton, South Golden Beach, and Billinudgel. The project aims to encourage all sectors of the local community and industry leaders to work together to rebuild their community after the devastating flood event caused by Cyclone Debbie.

Network Sponsors

Brunswick Valley Business Network is grateful for the generosity of its sponsors and their ongoing support as we work together toward achieving the goals of the Network and its members.

About Us

Underpinning the network project will be the cyclic process where local businesses will be strengthening the local community and working collaboratively with the local residents who make up the local community. The following cyclic process will be nurtured throughout the campaign;

The BV Community Network Project will;
1. Build a stronger Business Network in the North Byron Shire.
2. Establish a sustainable Community Funding system for NFP Organisations & Community-based Groups.
3. Provide rewards and incentives for members of the community to support their local economy.
4. Generate additional funds to create and sustain employment for the young job seekers leaving school and higher education.

Brunswick Valley Business Network History

Without our local businesses, economy and residents, the towns & villages of North Ocean Shores dies.

Lismore & Tweed Shire have rightly been declared disaster zones, provided with disaster relief funding under the Commonwealth's Disaster Recovery Program, however the Government has chosen to ignore the Byron Shire in the extreme record breaking weather event, that hit the Northern Rivers on the 30th of March 2017.

Billinudgel, Ocean Shores, New Brighton & South Golden Beach in the North of the Byron Shire were majorly effected especially Billinudgel, the worst locals have ever seen.

We thank all individuals and businesses in advance for their assistance in their help to rebuild our community.

Help spread the word!
